Hole in the wall old school Shunde restaurant specialising in hot pot. Just what you need for a cold winters night. Tip book beforehand as it does get very busy, especially on weekends. Highly recommend.

This is a very traditional Cantonese restaurant to me. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I had the chicken and pork strip hot pot, and ordered hand made fish balls, vegetable plater and chicken giblets. The soup was tasty, ingredients were fresh. The portion of food was great too. The soup was healthy and good for stomach. I think the chef took off the fat over the soup so the soup was clear without fat on top. Everything I had here was full of flavour, I love it!

Highly recommend this Claypot Porridge restaurant! The seafood meatballs and fresh sliced beef were perfect for the hotpot, very fresh and flavorful. The stir-fried dishes were delicious with crisp veggies and tender meat. The claypot porridge was rich, creamy, and comforting — exactly what you’d expect from authentic Chaoshan flavors. Great place for a hearty, satisfying meal!

I came to this place as it was near by and it was raining. The service was very good and the food was so warm and tasty!! I got the stewed chicken with mushroom on rice and now this is my favourite dish! Will come again.

Abalone fish maw chicken collagen hot pot is so healing for cold winter nights. A hidden gem Shunde hole in the wall restaurant that takes you back to China, not to mention the generous portions and wallet friendly prices. We will be back to try more.

The Shunde congee is authentic and remains me of my hometown. The pork offal congee was really tasty with fresh offal. A good choice for winter
